Very cool Mexican Sterling brooch features a sculptural vision of an undersea garden, with stylized seaweed, seahorses and one little angelfish peeking out. I am not 100% sure what the gold material of the seahorses and fish is, I am quite sure it's not gold though it really looks like it. It might be highly polished brass.

The signed sterling brooch is quite heavy and 15.5 grams on the jewelry scale! It measures 1 3/4" wide, and 1 7/8" wide. It is marked TA-142 which is 925 sterling silver.

The vintage sea garden brooch is in great condition, and though tarnished, it will be order polished it when you get it.
