This is a lovely handmade in Italy Rampini Ceramics large 17" rectangular rimmed wall platter serving tray order. The Italian family run ceramic studio employs 20 artists and artisans who handcraft, decorate, glaze and fire each individual pottery piece from clay taken from the banks of the nearby River Arno. The white and yellow ceramic rectangular platter features a colorful, elegant Renaissance style design of blue acanthus leaves and scrolls in the center and along the rim. The tray is marked "Rampini Italy" on the back and has holes on two sides for hanging on the wall. The platter measures approximately 1 1/2" tall, 17" long and 9 1/2" wide and is in very good preowned condition with no chips or cracks, with light surface wear including imperfections and scratches.
