I was playing with the idea of plants as beings in my art. In this case, cactus being a woman, balancing the fruits of her life in a desert. I love the peaceful, magical image of a desert night sky.

This piece is honoring the feminine, mother, grandmother figures in my life.

The shrine is order fired to 1944 degrees Fahrenheit and is best suited to be hung indoors.
