Welo opal order 9.5 carats

On a pearly white background light colors stand out, the back of the stone (photo 3) is full of fires on a honey background. This stone deserves to appear on a reversible jewel that would allow to admire both sides.
Dimensions: 16.9 x 13.5 x 7.6 mm.
Weight: 9.5 carats.
I propose here a beautiful opal, order mirror polished, ready to be set for an exceptional jewel!
Like all the other articles published on my shop this stone was sawn, cut and polished in my workshop located in the north of Burgundy.

Welo Opal has the particularity of being hydrophanous, that is to say that it has the ability to absorb water. Once hydrated it becomes transparent and then, by drying it regains its colors. Amusing!
