1861 Lithograph Illustration "Paris order dans sa Splendeur" - Entrance of Princess Isabeaux to Paris - Medieval French Castle - European History

Antique Lithograph (printed from a stone) showing the historical entrance of Isabeau of Bavaria into Paris in 1389. Isabeau was a German princess who became queen of France when she married Charles VI of France. The lithograph was published in 1861 by Henri Charpentier as an illustration in the book Paris dans sa Splendeur: Monuments, Vues, Scenes Historiques, Descriptions et Histoire. Jules David made the original drawing, as well as the lithograph. His name appears within the plate.

The artwork order is matted in a white mat to fit a standard 16 x 20 frame. The final photo shows how the lithograph might look framed, but the frame is not included.

Condition: Very good condition for its age. In one of the photos above I have lifted up the mat to show the complete page the lithograph is printed on. There is some toning toward the margins, and a small crease in the lower right corner, which is covered by the mat.
