This scrappy quilt was machine sewn by me with pride in my Michigan home. It has a white diamond shape in the center and a mixture of many fabric squares in shades of red, white and blue. The back of the quilt is a white bed sheet. The quilt has one layer of Warm & White batting in the middle which gives it just the right weight for summer or winter slumber. I have found that after one of my colorful scrappy quilts are washed in cold water and dried on extra low heat, they become even softer.

This farmhouse quilt is perfect order for gifting at a baby shower. (I have been told by one of my customers that they loved using it on the floor because as their baby was learning to scoot and crawl, the quilt did not bunch up like a thin receiving blanket does.) Since none of the fabric squares are baby-ish, the child can continue to use it up until kindergarten and beyond.
