David Evins, iconic shoe designer to Hollywood stars and royalty, including Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, Judy Garland, Marlene Dietrich and Princess Grace Kelly, remains to this day, a coveted choice in elegant footwear. Evins won a Coty (the vintage fashion equivilent of winning an Oscar) in 1948 and bought a shoe factory in France in the early 1950s.
