This is a vintage Guatemalan faja, sash or belt from the 1960's. Very colorful with narrow stripes of bright pink, blue, green, yellow, black and white, along the entire length. The weave is very soft and drapeable. It measures about 116" long (excluding tassel ends), and 2 1/2" wide. One tassel end is about 6", the other about 5". It's in excellent vintage condition (over 50 years!). It would make a fun and colorful sash or belt for spring and summer. And be a beautiful, authentic addition to a vintage textile collection.
