Small Square order Filigree Trinket Box Standing on Four Ball Feet

A very intricate white metal, almost certainly silver but unmarked, filigree trinket box. Age and country of origin are order unknown but the skill and craftsmanship is remarkable. The square box stands on four ball-shaped feet and has a hinged lid which closes firmly.

The box is in excellent condition with no obvious damage visible. There is a small flattening of the filigree work on the base which can be seen circled in red on the last image, presumably as manufactured.

Height = 2.0 cm (approx.)

Weight = 36.73 gm
