Antique order Victorian Italian Gold Wash Filigree Silver Shell Cameo Brooch Pin

Presented order is an antique, European silver and well carved natural shell cameo pin or brooch made during the early 1900s. This cameo was certainly made in Italy. The silver mounting is done in a filigree form and has a gold wash on parts giving a two tone effect. The center is securely set with a hand carved shell cameo portrait of a young woman. The clasp is secure. There is a loop on the back so this cameo can be used as a pendant as well.

The back is marked 900 for the silver purity.

This piece is in great overall condition, especially for its age.
