Pretty Pink order Wedding Broom

Accordian bow rhinestone decorated handwoven broom with polished cowrie shells, order glass beads, mother of pearl heart shaped buttons and a Swarovski crystals breast cancer ribbon, at the center of the bow. Pin ribbon was used to create the bows.

Each broom I create is decorated in the wedding colors of your choice, and with input, the accents are chosen to reflect the interests of the bride and groom. The broom comes with an explanation of the Jumping the Broom tradition and with a tag that includes the names of the bride, groom, and wedding or event date. The broom has a woven strap for mounting the broom. The brooms are great for shower gifts, housewarmings or anniversary celebrations.

The broom is truly an African-American creation; it is hand-made in a rural region of Southern Africa by local women, measuring 18-21 inches, and is decorated in the United States. While traveling, I found them to be perfect for honoring the African American tradition of Jumping the Broom.
