Extremely rare and near impossible to find at reasonable prices, vivid green “frog's eggs” Grossular garnets on matrix from the famous (and now closed) Jeffrey Mine in Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. The garnets are surrounded with clear radiating prisms of pectolite crystals, adding even more sparkle to this lustrous specimen of glassy crystals. The mineral matrix is a pale lilac purple /pink which adds gorgeous contrast. The garnets are shiny and glossy with vivid green interiors that create the frog eggs look. The exquisite garnets are the rarest green color with beautiful saturation. Perfect cabinet sized display specimen at about 3.5 x 2.5 inches.
