19th order Century French Hand Colored Engraving "Les Jumelles" The Twins / Imprimeries Lemercier French Publishing House

Antique 19th Century Hand Colored French Engraving titled order "Les Jumelles" meaning "The Twins." The subject line at the top reads in French, "Te doue l'enfant du gout des choses utiles, la nature et l'education feront le reste" which means "You gift the child with useful things, nature and education will do the rest." Imp Lemercier was Imprimeries Lemercier was a French publishing house in Paris at 57 Rue de Seine & 44 from 1803-1901.
A lovely small print showing the parents and grandparents of twins with care givers. A perfect print to frame for a gift to parents of new twin babies.

Dimensions: 7" W x 5 1/4" Ht. Paper dimensions: 9" W x 6" Ht. The print is in good Antique condition. There are marks from age.
