1920's cream handmade crocheted purse with a carved frame of dragons and embroidered pastel wool rosebuds
Fabulous and unique! For a small purse, a mere 7”x6”in size it packs a lot of style. The curved articulated bone like frame depicts a scene of two dragons on both the front and back. A cluster of pastel rosebuds embellish one corner of the front while the back order is plain. The purse was not used and was found in a plain original deteriorated box at an estate sale. The beautiful blue silk lining shows its age
With some splits in the silk (shown in the photos) and could be refined.
