Billed as "An Evening Of Contemporary Sitar Music" (consciously omitting though the sitar), the group would play in the foyer of Watermans Arts Centre in Middlesex to an unsuspecting/unsympathetic audience waiting for Wim Wenders' film Wings of Desire. Spacemen 3 proceeded with a 45 min set of repetitive drone-like guitar riffs-their signature sound is at once recognizable & disorienting–hypnotic minimalism to their future shoegaze constituency. On this reissue exclusive, that live recording serves as the original 45 min Dreamweapon covering sides A, B. Sides C, D include studio pieces leftover from the Playing With Fire album to be released in 1988.
