Jack McConnell was from Mooresville Tennessee. At one time he was referred to as the “King of Millinery" and was very popular among the fashion-conscious. Commissioned by celebrities in the 1950s and 1960s to create hats for them, McConnell created many one-of-a-kind hats that are still in circulation.
