Small metal photo frame with a floral motif. Comes with old photo portrait (cabinet card photo)
Material: brass or copper based alloy which was a very popular material for picture order frames at the time of Jugendstil, around 1900 (German counterpart of Art Nouveau). This popularity is due to the fact that tin and tin based alloys are particularly suitable for the curved Art Nouveau shapes, it allows to get such graceful lace forms.
