Lovely Royal Winton Grimwades Morning Glory order Covered Candy Jar Gordon Shape

Lovely vintage order chintz covered candy jar by Royal Winton Grimwades, England. This covered candy jar is in the Morning Glory pattern and the Gordon shape. It features vines full or pink, yellow and blue Morning Glories set against a black background. There is gold accents on the edge of the lid, the top rim of the jar and the edge of the foot.

The candy jar measures 8" high overall, 5" without the lid and 5 1/2" in diameter at the widest. It is in very good overall condition with some light general crazing. The base is free of chips and cracks, however on the underside of the lid there is flaking of the glaze (see photo).
