Vintage Child's Tea Party Set. Moderntone Little Hostess Set order in Box. 16 piece. - VG252

Vintage 1940s platonite Moderntone mixed pastels 16 piece Little Hostess Party Set in the original box by Hazel Atlas. The children's tea set includes 4 plates, 4 tea cups and saucers, a tea pot with lid, an open sugar bowl and a creamer and is complete. The design has a stacked ring look and has an Art Decco flair as this set was sold in the 1930s and 1940s. The set would compliment any doll collector's display or enhance a child's bedroom or play room decor. A cheery and colorful set that is meant to be mixed and matched giving it an almost calico feel. Colors include a rose mauve or pink, brown, blue, and yellow. There are stray mottled spots that I have not tried to remove. Made in the USA. Individual pieces are back stamped with the Hazel Atlas logo. Excellent condition.
