Featured here is a festive red white and blue patriotic bottle brush tree seated in a vintage Nucut sugar bowl with applied handles. I love using vintage glass in my crafts; giving old pieces new life. I began by spraying silver metallic paint inside the Nucut glass. I let the paint cure for 24 hours, before filling it with packaging styrofoam which provided a base for me to attach a ten inch blue glittered BottleBrush tree.

Decorating bottle trees is so much fun, and I try to make them as full as I creatively can. You will find this tree chock full of red white and blue embellishments such as acrylic beads and stars, foam glitter balls, fabric flowers, cardstock flags and reflective stars, a rustic bell, and two vintage Mercury glass bulbs lovely with patina. This bottle brush tree is ready to decorate your home for the summer months, while adding a bit of vintage glass elegance to your patriotic theme.
