This whimsical dress began it's life as one of those skirts with a fold-over waistband. The order waistband was converted into the bodice of the dress. It features a fully-lined skirt (vintage slip sewn in), a removable sash which was fashioned from scraps of black fabric and crocheted lace, a large front pocket and appliques on the lower back re-purposed from a vintage potholder, and more! I'm super proud of how this turned out and I put loving care into each and every detail.
