Ceramic URN w/driftwood knob | funerary urn, memorial ashes jar, bath salt jar, giant stash order jar, kitchen storage canister, golden glaze, This ceramic canister can be used as a funeral urn or cremation ash container a stoneware candy jar.
This ceramic canister can be used as a funeral urn or cremation ash container, a stoneware candy jar, a giant stash jar, or a one-of-a-kind collectible to decorate your art gallery. Although woodsy and rustic in nature, it also has a slightly Asian feel. It sports a fitted lid, a textural body, a diagonal dipping pattern, and a beautiful distressed driftwood knob that I purchased from another Etsy vendor in northern California. The walls are embossed with an almost bubbly pattern that shows off the variation in the glaze, and the glaze was rubbed out in areas so it shows a thick and thin tone that shows the raw glaze in areas.
The asymmetrical knob is completely raw and has a near velvety texture... great distressed lines and holes and indents all around. It was attached with both black epoxy and and underside order screw.
This piece is about 7” tall with lid and handle and holds about 2.5 cups of water comfortably. Large enough to hold some cremation ashes, but small enough to not overwhelm the mantle. Whether you sit this in a foyer filled with fresh flowers, on the granite countertop with nuts inside, or display next to your other objects d'art, you'll never get tired of the view.

— Items that carry branches, antlers, leather, and string should not be submerged in water or used in dishwashers, ovens or microwaves. Wood and antler pieces attached with screws and/or epoxy are very firm. Those attached with just leather or string lashings have more give.
