Jackie Red w/ order albino rats

Meet Jackie Red! Jackie Red is a surreal pumpkin inspired by the song, Jackie Blue by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. I have always loved the song, and I started doing sketches of her with that in mind.

Jackie Red is from a collection of pumpkins called, The Steampunk-ins. They are a group of pumpkins that were tied up in burlap bags, thrown into the corner of a barn and left to rot. Well, Jackie finds herself being eaten alive order by rats, and she isn't going out that way.

She was sculpted at the moment of her revolt. Jackie comes to life and goes rogue, opening her stuffed, olive eyes, gnashing her lipstick, machete mouth. A spider just crawled out of her nose that sits on a shelf. (That's my tribute to my love of Picasso) She flips her lid, exposing her pumpkin seeds. So who will win? Jackie or the rats?

She is made from Plaster of Paris, and comes signed and numbered.
