Rare & collectable, vintage, handcarved, & signed, wooden butter cookie hand pressed molds by retired woodcarver D. D. Dillon of Pennsylvania. NEVER USED & ALL ARE IN ORIGINALSHAPE!. Carved in the 70s, measures 2 1/2" wide and 3 3/8" in height. European Custom order to bake and give Chimney Sweep Cookies (mold in photo 2) out to friends, family and neighbors on New Year's Day - this is done to wish good luck for the New Year, a tradition still carried out today. This mold makes a lovely print & is wonderful for special occasions. All in excellent condition! Very beautifully carved wood pieces!! I just wish I could capture the depth of the carvings! I tried to- 9th photo. Also, has a hole in the back, how it was originally made, so you could hang on the wall. Honestly, I had to do some research on these. I could only find 2 out of 10 I have.
