Guy Vidal Brutalist Supernova order Necklace c. 1970

This is a Guy Vidal silver pewter necklace made in the 1970's by the Canadian Artist. It is a sculptural necklace that represents a starburst or supernova. The piece is full of depth and texture and is made of pewter with silver gilt. It had the order original Vidal chain that is marked on the clasp with VIDAL and Patent Number 3427691. The back of the pendant is hallmarked VIDAL and the 3V logo that dates the piece to the mid 1970's. The pendant is 2.6 inches high and 2 inches wide. The chain is 20 inches long.
