Silver "Hotel" was made for use in trains, boats, restaurant and hotel. Indeed, Hotel silver coins can fall without too much trouble because the underlying base metal is stronger than its silver exterior.
Base trim, stylized shell.
Hinge of the lid slightly offset (see photos).

Partial lack of silver color mainly on the handle (see photos).
