Vintage 1940’s order raspberry crepe dress

This raspberry colored rayon crepe dress features a lovely scoop neckline with floral and vine detail. It has 3/4 length sleeves, a kick pleat in the front and is rayon crepe. There is slight color fade in some areas but it never bothered me, due to it not being very noticeable. At the hip there are pockets! Side metal zipper. Please issue measurements as a guide due to the fact that this is an over the head dress with a side zipper.

This dress was part of my personal collection however the hip area never fit me quite right. My loss is your gain! This lovely dress was part of a costume department at some point in her life.

Hand washed in cool water using The Laundress Baby Laundry Detergent and air dried.


Flaws: this dress has some fading on the sleeves and shoulder area. The costume dept used permanent marker to write Roxy and some codes for the dept. on the inside of the neckline. Also some underarm spots and one spot near bust. (Photos of flaws to be added)

Waist: 26” max
Hip: max 36” (34” or 35” would be best)
Length: 42”
Sleeve Length: 15”


All items are hand washed order, air dried and mended (if there is anything) before arriving to you unless otherwise stated.
