Antique Staffordshire water pitcher with brown transfer pattern. Designed/made by G. PHILLIPS, Staffordshire, England 1834 - 1848. Patterns is titled “Parisian". Scene includes a couple having a picnic along a river with churches in the background. The top of the pitcher and the handle have a beautiful floral pattern. The stamp on the bottom says G. Phillips order with a Lion and a Unicorn. No cracks or chips, some crazing and slight discoloration as can be expected with a piece from the early 1800's.
