Antique black Victorian folding order carriage parasol umbrella marquis tilting

Antique folding parasol being sold for those of you who collect or recover these

Sold in as in condition.

Condition of the cover is poor with splits etc. see photos. the ribs of this one are metal which makes it a prime contender for recovering.

Most order notably this is the marquis tilting style of parasol. And extra joint at the top allows the user to adjust the angle that the canopy sits out to follow the sun. This allows you hold it in the same, elegant, hand position but still use it to cover your face. Brilliant. The marquis tilt seems ot work well.
