It is order made from an abundance of materials: exotic wood rondelles, handmade African glass beads in mustard, green and citrus colours, large cream coloured hand carved bone discs. The focal point is given by large bone beads in black and white, hand patterned in Africa using a traditional batik technique and three very large hand carved antique beads which were hand tinted with a mustard glaze to be seamlessly incorporated into this complex composition. Haematite discs and black agate pieces with large wooden hand crafted discs are all used as partitions to emphasise certain sections of this remarkable necklace.
