The Dumas-Probar Sail Control Unit (SCU) is a motor drive unit w/a swinging arm to control the jib and main sail to simultaneously - not independantly. This unit runs from a 4.8 volt battery which can be the receiver battery or a separate battery pack. Control of the SCU is by a double pole, double throw, center off (DPDT) switch. Batteries not included. From what I could find out, this unit is approx. 25 years old but new and never used and in original box. This is a great unit that was originally for boats with 800+ square inches of sail. Measurements: 2"W x 2.7"H x 5.1"L Weight: 8 ounces Travel Time: 5 order seconds Torque: 40 inch pounds.
