Earrings, Microfold bronze and sterling order silver

These earrings are bronze with sterling silver ear wires. The pattern/texture is created by micro-folding the metal and then pinching the folds (called "smocking") at certain points to create the pattern. The faces of these earrings have a slight curve side to side. The way light and shadow accentuate the pattern order across the curve is wonderful - they look great on.

To make these earrings, I am able to use very thin bronze, because microfolding a thin metal makes it much stronger. As a result - these earrings are very lightweight and comfortable!

The bronze has been sealed to prevent oxidation/tarnish.
