I made this gorgeous ear climber and stud using colorful natural Australian opal doublets. Everything is set in 100% hand-made fine silver and sterling silver. You will receive the exact set shown here.

The ear climber is designed to be worn on the right ear. I used five opals ranging in size from apprx 9x6 mm at the bottom to apprx 5x3mm at the top for a total length of about 1.25 inches (30 mm). I made a single stud to wear on the left ear, and it matches the bottom-most stone of the climber. The colors range from deep green-blue to light blue, with many lovely natural shades of opal in between. They are so vibrant, I feel like the photos don't do them justice!

To wear the order climber, point it downward and gently slide the end of the post from the front of your ear through your hole. Next rotate the climber so that the post is facing up and is behind your ear. Arrange the placement along your ear, and then gently push into the wire to hold it firmly in place.

These are made and ready to ship. You will receive the exact ear climber and stud pictured here, and I'll include a small Sunshine cloth to help keep your earrings bright and shiny.

CARE: Opal is a very fragile and sensitive stone, and is very susceptible to damage and discoloration. Because it's a doublet, getting it wet will ruin the backing. As with all precious jewelry, always apply perfume, hair spray, lotions, etc., before putting on jewelry. Never, ever wear your opal piece while in the water! Never soak your piece in any cleaning solutions. Clean the silver with the enclosed Sunshine cloth, and store your piece in an anti-tarnish ziplock bag to help avoid tarnish.

Each piece is handcrafted by me, which creates character that cannot be achieved from mass production. Your jewelry will not look like it was machine-made. I hope you'll enjoy the unique artisan look and feel of each piece from my workbench.
