Some Jewish order Women by Henry Zirndorf, Antique Judaism History Book with Decorative Cover

Published in 1892, this antique book presents biographical sketches and stories of prominent women in Jewish history from biblical times through the Talmudic Age. The vintage book has a red and white cloth cover over hardcover book boards and decorative gold gilt medallion stamp proclaiming "Israel's Mission is Peace" along with the Star of David, an infant holding a snake, an olive branch, and a lion laying down with a lamb.

The antique book is in good condition showing wear consistent with its age and use. There is a Hadassha "From the Library of" book plate on the order front endpaper on which a previous owner wrote her name.
