The order Three Graces Necklace

order This is the second in the "three graces" series I'm making....part of an unofficial mythology inspired collection rooted in Greek Myths and Edwardian figural silverware. I made the original proto-type for myself a couple months ago. I wear it constantly, and it gathered so much positive attention I realized I HAD to make more. I spent many months hunting out more of these pieces of extremely rare flatware, and foudn enough to start a run of this design. The pattern is called "Arcadian" and was made by "1847 Rogers Bros". The origin dates back to 1884. This beautiful silver plate pattern featured art nouveau women, cherubs, and in once instance a sort of hunter man. The detail on these pieces is amazing. This necklace uses the handles of three large spoons...most likely a kind of serving spoon. I hand cut , filed and drilled them, and hung lovely raw quartz pendants. They hang off of a silver chain made from repurposed chain link bracelets.

All pieces are unique. They are made completely from found and recycled parts, much like found-object art.
I have loved jewelry my whole life. I want to create pieces that drape and lay on the body the way clothing would, using relics and totems from years past.
