order Gorgeous Antique Victorian sulphide glass and brass drapery/curtain hold backs or picture hangers. Features a 6 point green star or snowflake design in the center, with an ornate design stamped on the border of the brass. Found as is in Southampton, NY.

In good - very good antique condition. The brass has a beautiful patina. The hold back on the left has a chip on the edge of the glass, shows slight wear on the green star and the wood handle has an old ding that has been painted over where the wood meets the wall. The hold back on the right has two very slight dings in the glass, which could be surface bubbles. Both pieces have bubbles in the glass. Both present beautifully regardless of their flaws.

Measurements:
• 6 point star with brass ring measures 1-3/4” in diameter — glass area measures 1-1/4” in diameter.

• 3-3/4” in length from the wall (not including the screws)

• Total length (including screws) 5-1/4” long

These authentic curtain hold backs were likely made in the late 1800's. Ideal for restoration and antique effect. Would make a beautiful addition to a Victorian home either as curtain hold backs or as art display.
