20th c. century copy. Colour print. 46 X 29 CM (18 X 11.5 inches). Professionally framed in a gilt and black frame measuring 61 X 54 CM (24 X 21.5 inches)

The original is : To the Society of Goffers at Blackheath - was based on a painting by Lemuel Francis Abbott (1760-1802) , the engraving was produced by Valentine Green as a Mezzotint print, circa 1790.

It is one of the first golf portraits ever published.
