Pair of Butterfly Decorated Scallop Shell order Lamp Finials

These colorful decorated scallop shell lamp finials are made on Cape Cod from hand-picked shells, gathered on the beach. No two shells are alike - but this pair was carefully selected to be as much alike as possible. This listing is for the PAIR of butterfly finials you see here.

The pattern comes from paper overlaid on the shells (decoupage) which is then decorated with silver foil. The backs of the shells are painted with a light pearly wash. There are many coats of gloss added to make these finials quite sturdy.

They measure approximately 3 3/4” from the top of the shell to the bottom of the finial hardware, and 2 7/8” across at the widest part of the shell.
