This shirt parodies one of the most famous songs of the 1980s and the resulting controversy surrounding it. The shirt reads "Who Gives a Shit What Frankie Says" and it is meant to be a comical response to the slew of "Frankie Says Relax" shirts worn by fans in response to the 1983 pop song "Relax" released by the English synth band Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The song served as the group's debut single, but it didn't gain significant attention until after is was banned by the BBC.

The song was banned after it was deemed to be too overly sexual and declared "obscene" The song's lyrics, packaging, and music video were also thought to be direct references to band members, Holly Johnson and order Paul Rutherford's open homosexuality. English fashion designer Katherine E. Hamnett responded to the controversy by creating the now iconic "Frankie says relax" t-shirts that this tee parodies.

Comments: Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Large repair on the back, see pics.
