This is a beautiful New Orleans estate sale find... I am not certain if it is oil or a different medium.
They have beautiful colors!
The frames shows clear signs of wear !!!
Knicks, scratching, discoloration.
Back paper is ripped and there is/ was a personal message on the back that is not completely readable.
Personally I think the wear on the frame adds to their charm … some of the discoloration might come off with cleaning but I don't want to scrub too much to not take any paint off.
The paintings have a few tiny spots with a little wear - pictured - if you look closely but not much..
