Victorian Stuart Tartan Ware Daily Appointment Booklet

A wonderful Tartan Ware booklet. The tartan design is order the ‘Stuart' clan.

The tartan plaid is on the front and back of the booklet with the spine of the book being leather.
The lining is green and gold design with a built in pouch for loose notes.

The paper pages for the notes have a gold leaf edge.
The first twelve pages have been used as an account book, written in pencil in French.
The first date I have found is 1890
The pencil is tucked into the edge of the front cover and held fast with the side holders.

Good SNAP SHUT Clasp

This tartan piece is in reasonable antique condition and could be in a display or used. 1880-1900.
