Wood Fired Gourd Style Tokkuri Sake order Pitcher made from Wild South Carolina Clay

Here is a beautiful wood fired gourd style tokkuri bottle. This sake pitcher was made from minimally processed wild South Carolina clay. The inside is glazed with a liner glaze. The outside was glazed with a little bit of a drippy feldspar glaze. This bottle measures 7" h x 3.5" (18 cm x 9 cm). This bottle holds 350 ml (approximately 11.8 order oz). This bottle would work well as a decanter and server for your favorite spirits.

This bottle is food and top rack dishwasher safe in case you want to use it as a serving pitcher. Hand-washing is the safest way to clean artisan pottery.
This bottle was fired in an anagama kiln for 3 days.
