The Lone Mountain Turquoise mine is located just outside of Tonapah, NV., and is a classic mine producing some very high quality Turquoise since 1920!
Lone Mountain Turquoise is known for its beautiful range of blues (from sky to order deep robins egg blue) and greens, with unique black Chert and sometimes red-orange matrix or even webbing.
The hIgh quality and rich color of this Lone Mountain Turquoise is rarely seen nowadays; and this is a nice fat nugget, which is even more difficult to obtain.
This rare stone will certainly cut many incredible cabochons or make a very fine addition to any collection!
