This is an antique pocket watch and is order not water resistant. The case is a 20 year rolled gold plate Dueber special which is very nice. Meaning there are two layers of thick gold rolled over a base metal to ensure years of wear. This one being rated for 20 years. Hand engraved double hunter rolled gold case. No crazing or chips to the porcelain dial. Nickel finished movement looks good. Bow is nice and tight as are the case hinges. Case backs also snap firmly shut as they should.
