Early English White Ironstone Small Pitcher - Creamer

The mark is not readable. This shape was made by Davenport c1866.

This white ironstone pitcher has an embossed leaf and fig design flowing from the handle on both sides and also under the spout

A Favorite Early English Ironstone Shape!

This ironstone gravy pitcher is in good antique condition with no cracks or crazing noted. The is a small chip on the inside of the top rim along with some bits of discoloration at the top rim, handle and the base. There is also a bruise noted on one side of the body - see pictures.

Even with these minor flaws this is a charming piece of antique white ironstone.

It stands about 5 1/2inches tall.

Antique white ironstone is increasing in popularity and this pitcher would be a most special addition to or start of your collection.
