Overlay Sterling Silver Kingman Turquoise earrings. Stones are set in smooth settings. Earrings also feature beautiful geometrical overlay design. The overlay style is made of two or more metals that are overlaid, one on top of another. The dept of each layer creates dimension in the design. Artist also oxidized the bottom layer to provide contrast within the design. These earrings are very elegant and perfect addition to your native American jewelry collection.

About Kingman Turquoise
The Kingman turquoise mine is operating by the Colbaugh family in Arizona. This Mine is one of the oldest and highest producing Turquoise Mines in America. Kingman mine was originally found by prehistoric Indians as far back as 600 AD. Tools such as stone hammers were found in the ancient trenches. This Mine is located in the Acerbate Mountains 14 miles northwest of Kingman, Arizona, and been commercially mined since the late 1880's. Birdseye Turquoise is a turquoise that is somewhat similar to spiderweb turquoise because it made of an combination of many small nuggets but instead of a dark matrix, Birdseye Turquoise is light blue turquoise with a darker blue turquoise matrix.
