Eagle River, Alaska, original fine order art watercolor

This was the first painting I did in Alaska. I had always dreamed of going to Alaska to paint the Inside Passage with it's snow-capped mountains, waterways, islands, forests and rivers. I order arrived in Juneau and got very lucky with several days of blue skies. I drove up the remote Hwy 7 North of Juneau and found this spot at the mouth of the Eagle River. In the middle distance is the Inside Passage with forested islands and beyond is the Chilkat mountain range in full snowy glory. It's a sight to see if you've never been there. I sat out in the sun and painted this watercolor on location. This original fine art painting would make a fantastic addition to your home or collection.
