This is a hand-sewed chuppah bed canopy or tablecloth. It is made from a beautiful, soft, milky white, pure cotton, handwoven fabric with gold sequins woven in parallel lines on the base fabric. The sequins catch the light and lend a sophisticated sparkle. The material used for making this canopy was custom-made and purchased directly from rural Indian weavers. Listing pictures have been taken on a 3-seat, plush sofa.

Construction details = milky white, pure cotton, handwoven fabric with gold sequins woven in stripes on the base fabric. The sequins are woven in straight, parallel lines 2.5 inches apart. Two widths of the material are hand sewn with a cotton insertion trim in the middle. Short edges are hand-hemmed.
Care = use gentle, cold water hand washes with mild detergent. Line dry in the shade. Iron from the reverse side on the lowest heat setting, if needed. Sequins are handwoven into the fabric, so they will not wash out.
Use = chuppah canopy, table cover, bed canopy, or a craft project of your own. This would make a gorgeous chuppah or wedding canopy as the sun/lights filter through the handwoven fabric and catch the gold sequins. It can also be used to create a wedding dress or as upholstery.
Condition: brand new. This fabric is very lightly starched, making it a bit fluffy but soft. It will get softer with each wash. Both short ends are hand hemmed, as shown in the listing picture.
