Hardwood Natural-Edge Cutting Board: order Maple and Walnut

This is a hand-made, hardwood cutting board made of two kinds of wood: maple and walnut. One edge still has the natural edge, adding a nice detail, but the other edge has completely straight lines. Party on one side, business on the other!

Unlike many other cutting boards, this one is just over 1 & 1/2 inches thick. This gives it some heft without being too heavy to use, and will keep it from warping, which thinner cutting boards tend to do.

This a fairly large board, at 16 & 1/2 inches long by 11 & 1/2 inches wide.

As with all of my cutting boards, it is finished with all-natural finishes made of linseed oil, tree resin, and beeswax. Although mineral oil is a common choice, I do not use it because it washes off easily. The finishes I use are much longer-lasting, and have the added benefit of being much better for the environment.

All colors are completely natural: no dyes or stains are used.
