Chaim Gross was a modern American sculptor, artist and educator working in New York City from 1921 until his death in 1991. This joyful image celebrating motherhood is from a limited edition series and is numbered 134/150 lower left. “Mother & Children”, titled in lower center, is hand signed lower right by the artist and is dated 1969. The art of Chaim Gross is in permanent collections of major museums and order private collectors from around the world.
